Start by placing a rolled up blanket, pillow or bolster under your knees. Assess if this is your edge. You do this by feeling into your being. You should feel a little uncomfortable but not in pain. If you ever feel any pain you have gone too far and need to pull back. If you need a little more discomfort add another layer under your knees. Once you find your edge close your eyes and hold the pose. Remain as still as you can - still in body and mind. Try to stay for 1 minute. If this is easy stay a little longer. This is also your edge to explore. Once you are at your edge you can ease yourself out. Remove the props from under your knees and move into Shavasana.
