Begin by lying on your back. Now move your legs to the left so you are creating a curve. Once you have this in place, raise your arms above your head and bring your hands together. The idea here is to make the shape of a banana with your body. You should feel a stretch down the right side of your body but not any pain. Straighten up slightly if there is any pain until all you feel is the stretch. Once you find your edge, close your eyes and hold the pose. Remain as still as you can - still in body and mind. Hold the pose for 3 mins. Once the 3 mins are up, slowly move your arms to the centre, followed by your legs. Now repeat the pose and move your legs and arms to the right. Hold again for 3 mins. Then bring your arms and legs back to the centre and move into Shavasana.
